Biography
Geneviève joined Caza Saikaley after completing her articles with the firm in 2019-2020. Prior to returning as a lawyer, Geneviève served as a judicial law clerk to the Honourable Justice Sylvie E. Roussel at the Federal Court. Geneviève obtained both her LL.L. and her J.D. at the University of Ottawa in the Canadian Law Program, a combined and comparative program of common law and civil law.
Geneviève was an avid mooter. In 2019, she represented the University of Ottawa in the Charles-Rousseau International Moot Court Competition, where she received one of the top ten oralist prizes. Geneviève also helped organize and mooted in the Exchequer Cup, a moot court competition by and for law clerks of the Federal Courts. She and her moot partner went all the way to the finals.
Geneviève is bilingual and practices in French and English.
When she is not in the office, Geneviève can be found at the pool or in the theatre, on stage or in the audience.
