Albert is a litigator who maintains a general litigation practice in both official languages. Prior to practicing in the private sector, he had the opportunity to clerk for the Chief Justice of the Federal Court. Albert also completed his articles with Caza Saikaley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Albert’s experience with the firm has allowed him to assist a variety of clients, both individuals and institutions, at all levels of court and in arbitral proceedings, with a wide range of legal matters, including commercial litigation, defamation, construction, professional negligence, and real estate disputes. He has a particular interest in the law of damages and insurance coverage disputes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Outside of the firm, Albert teaches landlord and tenant law at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law. Albert is committed to giving back to the community, including by regularly volunteering with Pro Bono Ontario’s Legal Advice Hotline, where he assists Ontarians with various civil matters, including housing law issues. Albert is particularly proud of his work as a law student at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic, where he earned the Greenspon Brown and Associates Prize for his contributions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
