Diner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Laurie earned her law degree at the University of Ottawa in the <em>Programme de droit canadien<\/em>, a unique program that combines and compares Canada\u2019s two legal traditions: common law and civil law. While studying, she worked at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic as a caseworker and division leader in the criminal division, at a human rights legal clinic, and for the Canada Border Services Agency. Laurie also participated in the Michel Bastarache Moot and her team received the Pierre Foucher Award for Best Factum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before entering law, Laurie earned a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice and undertook specialized studies in Mental Health and Addictions.
