Laurie St-Pierre
Articling Student
- Laurie is originally from Trois-Rivières, Québec, and is fluently bilingual in both French and English. When not in the office, Laurie enjoys visiting her family back home, watching football and traveling.
Biography
Laurie obtained both her J.D. and LL.L at the University of Ottawa in the Canadian Law Program, a combined and comparative program of common law and civil law. She has retuned to Caza Saikaley as an articling student after working as a summer student with the firm in 2022.
During law school, Laurie worked at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic as a caseworker and as a division leader. She also volunteered at a legal clinic for human rights. Laurie participated in the Michel Bastarache mooting competition where her team won the Pierre Foucher award for best factum.
Before studying law, Laurie completed a bachelor’s degree in criminology and criminal justice, and a graduate certificate in Mental Health and Addiction.
